The artist draws her inspiration from ancient, traditional art forms and pushes the boundaries to create unusual yet fascinating works of art. "As I create, I keep in mind that there are no straight lines in nature," says Kovalosky. "I work to find the balance in asymmetrical forms and designs that makes the final piece aesthetically pleasing." This portfolio is the culmination of a 10-year project. From Montreal's SoHo to the foothills of the Adirondacks, Kovalosky has drawn on a variety of sources to create a body of work that reflects the organic forms, natural textures and earthy tones of the woodlands of the Northeast. Enjoy the visual experience.
